Senior Associate - Workplace Planning & Design Manager
Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week

This role is a hybrid position, Tuesday - Thursday in the New York Office, Monday and Friday work from home.
Role Overview:
o Support Planning, Design and Construction Team in developing overall strategies to support company’s goals and initiatives.
o Manage and implement various interior design and renovation projects for NYL Business Units.
o Manage/expedite special, high visibility projects.
What You'll Do:
o Comfortable corresponding with executive level clients, and interacting with individuals at all levels
o Detail oriented, confident, self-starter with exceptional organizational skills
o Maintain a “can do” mentality with the ability to act with minimal information
o Demonstrate integrity, accountability, self-awareness and strong work ethic
Project Management:
• Manage all outside consultants on projects: architects, engineers, project management firm, furniture and IT vendors to expedite varying scales of projects from demo to move-in.
• Manage inter departmental relationships within NYL: Procurement, IT, AP.
• Ability to coordinate all aspects of Business units’ departmental renovations. including, but not limited to: block plans, schematics, furniture purchasing, design layouts, project implementation as well as coordination of personnel relocations.
• Oversee and manage all NYL Facilities Design projects (large and small) for all CSD operations and NYL Business Units with Facilities Design and Planning staff.
• Ensure company policies are followed
• Improve, implement and maintain workplace protocols and contracts corporate wide.
• Note: This role requires on-site presence from Tuesday to Thursday
Monitor and Implement Corp. Space and Furniture Workplace Strategies:
Work with the Procurement department to develop and institute effective space standards as well as pursuing cost efficient furniture & finish contracts to support said standards.
Budget and Project Tracking Administration Procedures:
Engage with appropriate areas within the company to address and stablish improvements of automated project management processes (including RFP, Purchase Orders, Contract, Work orders) to manage, monitor and expedite accounting and procurement operations as it relates to PDC’s projects.
What You'll Bring:
o Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and ability to manage up and down streams.
o IWMS or Spatial Data experience a plus but not required.
o Excellent Presentation Skills and Visual Communications required.
o Strong-communication and organizational skills
o Ability to work with multiple departments/divisions representatives, outside vendors and consultants to expedite all work.
o Critical thinker with ability to trouble shoot, problem solve and multitask.
o Bachelor Degree of Architecture or Interior Design, minimum of 10 years of multi-disciplined professional exposure. Proficient in Autocad, Word, MS Projects, Excel

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
