The Representative on the Loan and Withdrawal Team will be responsible for processing all basic disbursement related items, and communicating with Agents, Clients and Service Representatives on a daily basis. Representative will also be responsible for reviewing cases that have Power of Attorney / Trust / or Divorce paperwork attached to the case, and processing financial transactions accordingly.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Processes service requests related to disbursements of loans, dividends, partial withdrawals on New York Life products
  • Responds to 3rd party requests for information on products and benefits
  • Restores policies; reversing and updating financial transactions on policies
  • Reviews Trust, POAs and other court documents to confirm proper authorization to process transaction requested
  • Answers Agent and Policyholder calls, providing support and processing service requests related to the Life Disbursement Team 
  • Creating annual policy summaries from scratch, requiring manual calculations for established values



  • Associates, or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of related experience
  • Minimum 0 - 2 years of customer service and/or call center experience required
  • Knowledge and experience in loan processing related to insurance products preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, and ability to type quickly and accurately (45 words per minute preferred)
