Responsibilities

 

  • Vendor Management
    • Responsible for supporting the relationship and day-to-day operations for the medical & pharmacy plans.
    • Attend and coordinate regular vendor calls/meetings as client support person.
    • Recommend process improvements to create efficiencies.
  • Analyze data to evaluate effectiveness/ROI of plans and programs. Monitor the efficiency and competitiveness of each program against marketplace, highlight concerns/successes, and identify opportunities for cost reductions and/or service improvements on a continuous basis. Develop strategy recommendations.
  • Address escalated member issues.
  • Responsible for managing the annual open enrollment process.
  • Work closely with team on member communications.
  • Partner with team on employee wellbeing initiatives. Maintain and update all benefits vendor contract inventories, plan documents, SPDs, Third-Party Risk Management system requirements and vendor governance booklets.
  • Partner with the Benefit’s data & financial team on related data, analytics, and financial projects.
  • Prepare presentation decks for management with the ability to articulate and convey the “story”.
  • Support special projects to address continuously evolving business needs, including vendor implementations, strategic initiatives, and process improvement.
  • Work closely and partner with stakeholders and colleagues across various areas of the company, including Procurement, Office of General Counsel, Risk, IT, Agency, Benefit Operations, to resolve incoming requests.
  • Support RFI, RFP, and support contract (re)negotiation activities in partnership with Procurement, ensuring all activities follow appropriate compliance standards.
  • Individual will be reporting to the senior member on the team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in Benefits, program & vendor management supporting medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life, leave, disability, wellbeing and other work/life programs or related experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage a project independently.
  • Ability to foster strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred 

 

 

 

Salary range: $115,000-$175,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No
