The Enterprise Risk Governance and Reporting Sr. Associate will play a key role in executing the Enterprise Risk Assessment process for New York Life, with a focus on operational risks. This individual will plan and coordinate subject matter expert interviews, document interview results, insights and action items, identify, collect and analyze sources of risk assessment information that support the Enterprise Risk Assessment process, compile Enterprise Risk Assessment results into the Enterprise Risk Dashboard reports, and prepare documentation for senior executive level Committees and Board of Directors.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Enterprise Risk Assessment process including subject matter expert interviews
- Support the Enterprise Risk Assessment interviews including preparing materials, capturing recaps, capturing action items, performing research, contributing to interviews
- Track and follow up on action items to completion
- Prepare Enterprise Risk Assessment results, highlighting mitigation activities, changes to risk ratings, examples, rationale, and supporting information
- Review and analyze bottom-up risk assessment results from Risk Management teams to incorporate into the Enterprise Risk Assessment process
- Document and maintain process and procedures for the Enterprise Risk Assessment
- Perform industry research on Enterprise Risk Assessment practices, Operational Risk trends
- Perform other governance and reporting duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher; Risk Management, Finance or other related field
- 7+ years of experience
- Experience with Operational Risk Management risks, framework and methodologies
- Experience conducting Risk Assessments, preferably Enterprise Risk Assessments
- Experience with project management
- Experience with analyzing data and producing reports
- Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Preferred:
- PMP Certification

Salary range: $90,000-$135,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
