Role Overview:
The Senior HR Strategy Associate is a key contributor to the Human Resources department, directly reporting to the Chief of Staff to support strategic planning and broad HR initiatives. This role demands exceptional organizational abilities, strategic and tactical thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of HR’s objectives. The position will collaborate closely with HR leadership, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Communications, Finance, and Technology to align HR strategic goals with daily operations and drive HR initiatives.
What You'll Do:
1. Strategic Planning and Reporting:
o Support annual strategic planning and roadmap development for HR.
o Coordinate progress updates across all HR CoEs and ensure alignment with department objectives and priorities.
o Conduct market research, analyze trends and best practices, and prepare data-driven reports to guide decision-making.
o Identify, track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), outcomes and ROI across HR CoEs; focus on high-priority initiatives to achieve business objectives.
o Track and monitor HR contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives and budget plan.
2. Task Coordination and Data Integration:
o Maintain a centralized database of HR initiatives and tasks; manage and report on work statuses using task tracking tools.
o Create automated reports, offering insights into HR metrics and performance.
o Leverage data to drive prioritization and inform HR senior management of progress against goals, presenting actionable insights and recommendations.
3. Meetings Preparation and Presentations:
o Develop agendas, presentations, and materials for leadership meetings, employee forums, and other key departmental events.
o Ensure alignment, clarity, and accuracy in all materials.
4. Communications:
o Facilitate transparent communication within HR and with external stakeholders by ensuring alignment of messaging with organizational priorities.
o Develop and deliver cohesive reports, such as progress updates on strategic initiatives, HR metrics dashboards, and project performance summaries, to audiences including HR leadership, department managers, and cross-functional teams. Coordinate with Corporate Communications partners to ensure consistency and alignment with broader messaging.
o Contribute to internal HR department intranet site, "What’s Up HR" (WUHR), by identifying timely accomplishments and milestones from the HR roadmap to highlight, showcasing progress and keeping employees informed and engaged.
5. Employee Engagement and Recognition:
o Lead and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement within HR.
o Design programs to foster a collaborative and engaging work environment.
o Oversee our recognition program reporting and utilization across HR and provide regular updates to HR leadership to ensure alignment with program objectives and budget.
6. Flexibility and Ad-Hoc Support:
o Adapt to changing priorities and provide support on a variety of initiatives and tasks as business needs evolve.
o Take ownership of additional administrative responsibilities as needed to achieve department deliverables.
What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in a similar strategy support role, preferably in HR or a related field.
• Knowledge of HR processes, practices, and change management principles is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to bring together information from different places and connect the dots
• Expertise in PowerPoint and presentation software.
• Proficiency with reporting and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or Coda), Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $77,500-$132,500
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
