This position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
New York Life Group Membership division is looking for a marketing communications professional for the project management of daily and long-term activities across multiple marketing disciplines. The candidate will have good interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong writing and editorial skills are also required. This digital savvy professional will have experience across multiple marketing channels (web, email, social, print, video, etc.) and be competent working with clients, internal staff, and vendors. The position requires solid business acumen and a well-rounded set of communications and technical skills.
- Responsible for project management of client marketing activities across multiple disciplines. (digital, ecommerce, email, print, direct mail, collateral, video, etc.).
- Collaborate with clients, internal account management team and vendors on a variety of sales and marketing communications materials.
- Assist with the writing and editorial efforts surrounding our products and services including Life Insurance, Disability Insurance and Supplemental Health Insurance. This requires collaboration with multiple departments including; sales, contracts, compliance, medical underwriting, product development and actuarial.
- Help with editorial support on key promotional and product marketing initiatives, including the language and rules surrounding insurance products and insurance applications such as custom product features, disclosures, and other legal and compliance requirements.
- Assist with research of various insurance industry and marketing topics.
- Responsible for helping write and proofread content for websites, newsletters, email campaigns, brochures, social media, PowerPoints, and webinars.
- Assist with sales and administration support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience (Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing degree preferred)
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills
- Experience with business writing, including editorial and proofreading skills
- Experience working within multiple marketing disciplines; digital, social, email, web, video, direct mail, etc.
- Basic research skills
- Exposure to analytics and data analysis (web, marketing campaigns)
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well with clients, staff, and vendors
- Good presentation skills
- Microsoft Office Suite
Not required but a plus:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with basic .html
- Knowledge of AP style writing guidelines
- Insurance/Financial industry exposure

Salary range: $72,500-$107,500
